Our ordinary life...

As most of you know, Matt injured his ankle in a car accident in July. He recently had a second surgery to take out one of the largest screws in his ankle and has been given the "okay" to start putting pressure on his foot again. He is in physical therapy and uses one crutch most of the time. In the evening his foot is pretty sore and swollen so he puts a bag of frozen peas on it. Tonight Colby told Papa he wanted to get his peas for him, so he went to the fridge and got his leftover blueberries (fresh, not frozen) and put them on Papa's ankle, very cute, and you can see he is very proud. At a baby shower that I co-hosted for our buds J&S, their baby is due the exact same day in January that Laney was due.
Bowling again, with Josh, the boys loved the lights out and the loud music.
My dancing prince, something about a slippery floor and loud 80's music that puts him in the groove. Shirt from Grandma Ellen, I find myself putting him in it almost every day!
Colby loves George and Jill.
We are the "Mamarazzi", always taking pics of the kids in action. Here is Jean getting photos of Michelle and her girls, her hubby (Matt) travels a lot with his job and was out of the country.
Laney has recently figured out how to whine when she sees me and is not WITH me, cracks me and Auntie Jill up. Jill is the best Auntie, I can dump the kids off on her and George and totally NOT feel guilty :)
Yes, the bow extravaganza has begun! Our sweet friend, Heather, who just gave birth to her third child, sent this one to Laney (she made it!)
Colby had his first friend sleep over last weekend. We watched Brandon so his mommy and daddy could have a nice date. They did well, his girl, Mia, is at his side.
Breakfast with Papa
Colby now loves board-type games, we have bought him a couple lately and BOY he wants to play them all the time! I can't wait for Granny B. to get here next month to play with him!
