Happy Halloween! May the Force be with you!

We had two nights of Halloween at the Beck house. The first pictures you will see were from tonight (actual Halloween). The Americans in the neighborhood (at least some of them) wanted trick or treating to take place on Saturday night so we did that but there were not that many people out. Tonight the kids came out of the woodworks. A lot of Germans come to our neighborhood to experience the American style trick or treating. Laney was actually awake tonight so I took her to our neighbors for them to see her in her outfit. Tiff went out trick-or-treating with some older friends (for their second night)!Colby is Yoda, only mistaken for Shrek once. As a matter of fact, Shrek (a daddy) came to our house tonight and Colby was speechless until we closed the door and Colby said, "That was a SPOOKY Shrek" (translated by mommy from Colby talk!) He also said he did not like all these people coming to the house to get his candy. I think Laney's Princess Leah costume must be laced with Ambien, as every time we put it on her she passes out!

Mama's princess.
Now this was Saturday night, we had Meyers and Nichols families over along with Lydia and Dina, was a fun time.
Checking out his loot.
Our first house was next door at Ms. Barbara's. You can see she had her dog, Chico, dressed up like a Tiger, that is exactally when I realized that I forgot to bring Sieben along in her Darth Vader dog costume....
Colby, Josh and Branden
Tiff, the Storm Trooper.
And he's off!

Dina, Lydia and Kristal
Friday night the kids and I made ghoulish goodies...we had ghost cookies (nutter butters dipped in white chocolate), bat cupcakes, hot dog mummies, brain dip and ghoul punch (a floating ice hand, ice cubes with gummie worms in them). Kristal made the cute pumpkin cheese ball. Double click for a close up.
Getting ready for Halloween goodies!
We carved pumpkins on Thursday, we were wondering when we would squeeze this in....so we did it after dinner but before Matt had to go to church for the evening.
Oh boy, oh boy!

Tiff's football season has come to an end. Dad and Tiff went to her football party on Tuesday night. The coach had great things to say about her spirit and willingness to do whatever he asked of her. She actually got a trophy that was a GIRL this year!
Tiff and Devin, he is the son of some of our new friends that are in our Bible Study home group. They are a neat family, have four kids, two of which were on Tiff's team. They live right down the street, they are ones who Tiff went trick-or-treating with tonight (and last night for that matter!)
