Shannon (my college friend who is now in Korea) sent these blankets for the kids. She also got a red one for Tiff's room. They love them! Just what a cold Germany winter ordered.
Zoomers, with coach Kevin. Best team ever. Great kiddos. They never lost but we technically did not keep score (yeah, right). Kevin is a Lt. Col. and so is his wife, they retire this Christmas. Their daughter, Elena, is one of my students (with the long brown hair in the middle). She was amazing.
Colby and Dom started playing for the German village team on Friday. The German kids are very GOOD. They should learn a lot from this team.
Saturday was the first lazy day we have had in a long time! It was so nice NOT to have a schedule. I slept in, thanks to my hubby...you all know how I need my sleep! We took Sissy to get her hair hacked off...then we had J and S over to play in the leaves. Afterwards, we walked to the Mexican restaurant in the village to have dinner with Jill and George. It was about 70 degrees. After dinner, we walked through town on the way home as there was a little village fest going on.
Yep, even Mama got buried in the leaves.
Tiff has been wanting this hair cut for months.....after months of my trying to avoid it she finally got her way. One ray of light, we are sending her old hair off to "Locks of Love" so they can use her hair to help create wigs for children suffering from cancer.
