Matt's iPhone

We are always taking pictures with Matt's iphone, just now getting them downloaded.  Matt and George took Tiff and Justin to the indoor ski place in France for the day.  The kids enjoyed snowboarding, hard to see them in the pictures.
Justin has his hand in the air, Tiff is beside him,
Brown Bear must have been MIA this night.  I can't believe how big Colby is getting.
Heading to the cruise ship, look at my big boy in the corner.
Matt was very impressed with this, the guys selling knock off purses all had strings attached to the cloth beneath the purses and when the cops were in sight they would snatch up the strings and take off down the street.  These guys were everywhere on the street of Barcelona.
Matt wants one of these in his store.
Picture from the bus ride back to Germany from the cruise.
Matt and I were invited to our preacher's 50th "black and white" birthday dinner.  We had Tiff take our picture and Laney just assumed she was supposed to be in it too.  ha ha.
Matt went to Lenk, Switzerland with our men's group from church for an IBC conference.  Here is a shot he took.  Below is the band that stayed with us when they visited Wounded Warriors at Landstuhl Army Hospital.

Matt is the ministry leader for our church, here is Tiff learning some of the ropes.

Laney at ballet, she is on far left.
Valentine's Day breakfast at Colby's school.  He looks miserable (Matt says he was not) and she looks like she stuck her finger in a light socket!
Matt and I had reservations for Valentine's dinner at the Cockpit Lounge, a restaurant and hotel right next to his store.  Tiff babysat as her v-day gift to us.  We had salad, a steak that the waitress sliced and served to us and some yummy sides.  I want to take my brother in law, Bob, here when he comes. Having worked on planes for his military career I think Bob would enjoy the atmosphere, not to mention the beer!

Ms. Nicole had family from the states visiting on v-day so Laney got to go to work with Papa.  Here they are having lunch at the local doner place.  By the time I picked her up after work she was passed out on the couch in the store, busy day I guess.
Pretty good shot from Colby of the old girl.
Me and my childhood friend, Kristal.  She is a Major in the AF and stationed here, she and her hubby (also in the AF) are great fun.  They retire in June so I am bummed, moving to Michigan.
Love, love, love this shot.
Several years ago we started the tradition of going on a trip on Valentine's weekend just the two of us.  We are never go places much without the kids so we look forward to this trip every year.  It is hard when you don't have family close by who you can dump your kids on for a weekend!   So, over the years we have gone to Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Porto and now Florence.  We take turns planning the trip and TRY to keep the location secret from the other.  This year Matt found a book on Florence that I had stashed away and figured it out.   Here we are on our way to our annual v-day trip (one week delayed) to Florence.

The Duomo was just a couple minutes walk from our hotel.

As you can see, not the best weather but at least much warmer than the 20 degree weather we left in Germany.
Spa dip before dinner.  Our hotel had an awesome spa attached to it that we got to use, also had a gym that we did NOT use :)  Dinner is served late here so we head out for dinner around 7:00 and we are the early birds.

Most amazing bruschetta ever to cross our lips.  Warm bread, goat cheese and prosciutto.
My memory is bad, I MUST take pictures of everything!  Ellen, I swear he is not miserable like Colby looked on V-day :)
Eat your heart out, sister, spaghetti Carbonara.
Before dinner Matt said he wanted a spicy pasta meal with meat.  On the menu was spicy pasta with pork CHEEK.  The whole "cheek" thing really threw him off but I convinced him to get it and he liked it, as it looked just like regular bacon.

Many markets and vendors, we walked all day.  Loved the feel of the city.  Reminded me of living in Sicily and brought out my 9th grade Italian, which is now mixed with college Spanish and German.....quite impressive if I do say so myself :)
We thought David had a strong likeness to Matt.....hmmmm.
On the gold bridge, tons of jewelry stores on this bridge.

We always hit the Hard Rock on our Valentine's trip!  Tiff scored a cute pair of sweats from here today.
Who ate the apple cobbler all by himself??
