We are in rural Virginia now, staying with Matt's brother and family. Here the kids are at Grandma Ellen's house. Matt and Tim did some manual labor to help Ellen clean out her garage. The kids and I supervised. ha ha. Hot hot hot. I know some of my friends in Germany are complaining about having to use their heat right now so I won't complain.
We are thrilled that we are here during Tim's church's VBS so Colby can attend with cousin Carsten and the other "old" Colby. Carsten's has two cousins named Colby, both are four years old and only a month apart so he calls our Colby "new Colby" and his other cousin who he sees often "old Colby." In the background is Tim's church.
In Burkeville with Grandma Ellen.
The VBS theme this year is about the ocean and water, explaining Tim's scuba gear! You can see Carsten, Colby and Colby in the second row. All four year old wild things!
I am pretty sure they are not paying as much attention as they appear to be!
I helped Jennifer out with snacks last night; therefore, I got to be the stalker-camera mom. Their snacks were sugar cookies, blue frosting and then chocolate chip fish cookies to put on top to make an ocean scene.

Laney and Papa checked things out for a while with Uncle Timmy.
Craft time.
At a bouncy castle play place this afternoon.
They are selling kids cheap at Walmart these days, only $2.49!
Mowing at Grandma Ellen's today, both kids had to ride.
We weeded and put some mulch down for Grandma Ellen and in exchange she made us one of Matt's favorite home cooked meals (greens, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, bread, peas, pie!) Matt pulled in to the front yard and here is Laney scolding him (note pointed finger) for pulling up in to the front yard to get the mulch out of the trunk. She is two going on 16.
