Well, we made it back to the states on Saturday without much drama. Colby did not sleep a wink on the plane and Laney graced us with about an hour and a half of sleep. The minute we walked off the plane we were reminded of how HOT it is in NC! Wow, we are certainly used to cooler weather and now are sure we will only retire here if we are closer to the mountains. On Sunday we went to church, a buffet lunch....oh my, and to a Hickory Crawdads game. Here the kids are playing at the playground at the ball park. Laney braves the slide with cousin Lou-Lou. Lauren is awesome at playing with Colby, so nice to see.
Love this look. Laney is a Mama's girl to the MAX.....I hardly get a break, but I certainly do still try to pawn her off to everyone every other minute!
Riding the carousel at the ball game with Lauren.
Colby and his new Crawdads hat and baseball bat.
Mackenzie, Tiff and Laney with the Conrad the Crawdad.
The whole gang, sweating in places we did not know existed!
Baby Girl and Big Sissy.
The whole gang, minus Granny B, already at church and Matt.
Back home Germany, eating pudding, all by herself....like you cannot tell!
On the 4th of July we had a dinner at the Davis house with our life group friends. Granny B. supplied the festive shirts...I can't believe I did not get a picture of Tiff.
You would not be thinking "Poor Sieben" if you knew her :)
Colby watching Chitty-Chitty Bang Bang, in a happy trance.
At church Colby made this in his class, Tiff asked what it was and he said a "cheerio thing!"....so, I guess we will never know.
Tiff decided that she should be giving thanks to her parents on occasion so she made us this yummy treat, says "thank you" on it. She has been reading a Christian book and getting good ideas :)
