Basketball time

Tiffany has started playing basketball. She plays on an all girl team of 11-12 year olds, she had to be on the older team since she turns 11 during the season. The coach ended up being a friend of ours so that was a nice surprise. Tonight, Colby and I took her to practice and he had a blast playing around the whole time.

Last night Matt and the kids decided to make a special treat for Mommy. They made brownies in a Christmas tree mold, frosted it with white icing and put sprinkles on it, very yummy!

It is a German tradition for St. Nicholas to come and leave children toys, candy, fruits and nuts in their shoes (that they leave outside on the eve of the 5th.) IF the kids are naughty then St. Nick leaves them switches in their shoes. So, St. Nick visited us AND Birgit (our nanny) also brought the kids some goodies on Saturday evening. Tiffany spent the night at Justin's on Saturday night so St. Nick visited her there AND also to our house! Talk about lucky! Boy, Little Man really loves chocolate....just like his Mama.
Tiff had strict orders for me to put her biggest shoes (her football cleats) outside to be sure she could get a lot of loot from St. Nicholas. She got candy, a Lego toy and a couple of other goodies. Colby got two trucks and some candy before we headed off to church.
