This picture was taken yesterday at the Charlottte airport, we were two hours late leaving, which is not too bad....what is bad is that three hours in to the flight the pilot told us we had to turn around due to some electrical concerns. We were going to land in PA but they would not let us land there so we had to go back to NC, after trying to get rid of some fuel so that we could land. Needless to say, we were in the air for about 6 hours, not too thrilled about that. We got to our hotel last night at 2:30AM and then came back up to my mom's for another "last night" in Hickory. They tired to reschedule us for a connecting flight today at 7AM and then with an 11 hour lay over in PA, but we said NO WAY! We are supposed to fly out again on Monday, wish us luck! We are tired.

The other day we went to Buffalo Beal's Animal Farm, not far from my mom's house, at first Colby was scared to feed the animals but then got used to them.

My mom has this cat on her porch that Colby fell in love with for some reason, he started just coming up to the cat and kissing it every time we went in the door, crack me up!

Matt and Colby tried to help Grandma Ellen fix her refrigerator while we were there. Colby was his assistant for a long time.

The kids like to go with Granny B. to get her mail. One day a neighbor came and brought two letters that had been dropped on the street....I wonder who did that?

Ooooh Lori, I can NOT imagine... This stinks! 3 hours in to the flight with a "baby" and you then have to turn around for another 3 to start over a few days later. Oh, girl. Well, I hope this comment now finds you back home in Germany. I'm sure home will feel good. Miss you!
