Well, this morning we woke up and went to a base wide Easter egg hunt. It was very sad, there were hundreds of people and the organizers were not prepared for the turn out...so, when Colby's group (ages 0-2) went in to their section of the playground he got NO EGGS....zero, they were all scooped up within a minute....many kids went without, very sad for Mommy to watch. HOWEVER, a guy came by and tossed two eggs Colby's way so at least he did not have to leave empty handed. He had no idea that he was missing out but Mommy was sure sad to watch...
Standing around, wondering what he is supposed to be doing, I love this shot.
Leaving the park, wondering what we came here for.
THANK GOODNESS, the hunting experience was saved, as we went over to dinner at Jean and Kevin's house and the Easter Bunny had been there and left plenty of eggs for the little man (and Mia and Josh!)
Here we go! Once he figured out there was candy inside it was all over, he wanted to eat it all.
Playing in the back yard of Jean and Kevin's house.
Our boys at play.

Looks like it was a beautiful Easter day in Germany. Remember how it snowed last year? Love the picture of Colby on Matt's shoulders looking back! You're really capturing some GREAT shots.
In our neighborhood, there are so many eggs and SO many kids it's like a scene from Gladiator. Pushing, shoving, and I'm pretty sure there was a chariot in there somewhere. It looks like he had more fun in your backyard anyway!--Shannon's Matt
