Christmas in Deutschland

St. Nickolas comes to visit German kids on December 5th. They put their boots or shoes outside their front doors and they are either filled with fruit, nuts, candy, small toys or coal. Colby, was hesitant to go out and find his boots which were filled with a shark/fish toy and a chocolate Santa (from Birgit!)
Here Mommy, St. Nickolas must have brought the chocolate for you! See! I was a good boy this year!
We went to my work's Christmas party on Saturday night. Colby spent the night with our nanny, Birgit.
The girls, our group is shrinking!Sarah and Joerg.
We went to a Weinachtsmarkt, a Christmas market, today after church. It was a nice and chilly day, the first day without rain that we have had in a LONG time. I think Colby is trying to escape. You have to have a crepe at the Christmas market, it's the rule!
My boys, frozen :)

Wow Lori, you and Matt looked great at the Christmas party and you are so right about crepes and Weinachtsmarkts...we have eaten a crepe at every one we've been to this year and unfortunately we have pics to prove it. Yikes!
