Dinner Club

We have started a monthly Dinner Club with three other couples that we are friends with here. All of us met a long time ago, long before any of us had kids and now we all have them. Vonda and Ian already have two and Matt and Michelle are expecting again in the spring. We had this month's dinner at our house and the theme was a Mexican Fall Fiesta! We had a lot of fun. Here is Michelle and Carolina Grace Livingston.
I did not get enough pictures, but you see here that it was busy time. Ella Rose has the hair bow, Mia is in the overalls, and then there is Joshua, Colby's only boy buddy in the area!
Sieben thought everyone came to see her. Here she is surrounded by kids. Ella Rosa and Mia really thought she was great, they would run aroung the island being chased by her and actually enjoyed the full-face kisses!
I found the little guy in the pantry (his new favorite place) and he was sorting our glass recycling bin.....looks like he found something good! ha ha.
Our nanny had Colby in her car on Friday and brought him home with his seat turned facing forward...so, we told her that he had to still be facing backwards because he was not yet a year old (he has been within the weight limit to turn around for a long time but just was not 1 year yet). HOWEVER, Birgit told us that she had just been stopped by the German Police in a parking lot and they told her that "this baby was entirely too big to still be facing backwards" so they made her switch him on the spot. Pretty funny, we were thrilled because that means we can change him around too. He was so cute and enjoyed his new view.

How will they know how old he is? We turned Max around at 8 months and Isabella at 10. It's so much better. Colby will enjoy the car so much better now!

Thank you again for hosting the dinner! We had a wonderful time. Of course, the hit was when Sieben came out to play! We have made it to the States safely and have all gone our separate ways for now. Colby is adorable enjoying the new view! BTW..we have that same car seat and LOVE IT! Looking forward to seeing ya'll when we return.

First of all... I love your new background! Nice work :) Second of all, I sure wish we could have started that dinner club a little sooner (when we were living there)! Wow, I can hardly believe how big all those kids are getting! The story about the German police is hillarious! Better write that one in his baby book!

Girl you are so ahead of me...I just now posted the pics from the Tex Mex Dinner at your place. Thanks again for having us...we had a great time. And what??? The German police getting in on the action of turning Colby around in his seat??? Well hey I'm sure he will enjoy himself much better now anyway.
