We had to have Stinky put down today, in Germany. Birgit (our wonderful nanny) has been taking care of him and she (and Joerg) say that he was not looking so good for the past while. His diabetes was really acting up and both of his kidneys have failed. We called the vet today when Birgit had him there and we talked to her and she (the vet) said it was the best thing to do for him. We will miss the little Stinker.
On a lighter note, Tiffany asked me where dogs and cats go when they die and I told her to Doggy or Kitty Heaven and Tiffany said, "But not Stinky!" (you see, he had a history of not always being so sweet to people,) but I told Tiff that since he had been nice for the last year of his life and that since God was such a forgiving God, that I was sure he was in Kitty Heaven.

We are so sorry to hear about your loss. I bet Seiben (sp?) will really miss the little Stinker. There is always Gracie and/or Shayla available to add to the family!?!? ;-) On a serious note, we know you will miss him.
Oh, Lori, I'm sorry. Tell Tiffany that if Traffic can make it to Kitty Heaven, I'm sure Stinky is there! He had a nice long life, but I know you'll miss him.
